What will I learn?
You will discover how to take charge of your life, rather than suffering at the hands of external influences. You will learn what your role is in your boundary problem and more importantly how to assert these limits without the guilt that is normally associated with it. You will feel confident to assess the different areas of your life and make choices that you feel comfortable with. And you will begin to view your life, your family, your work and technology with a different lens and discover why it isn’t working.
This course will give you the power to see that any part of your life that is not working can be improved, if you have the tools to do it.
In addition to learning how to put firm, clear and healthy limits in place in every facet of your life, you will also be taught the skills to help be heard, with a crash course in assertiveness training.
WEEK 1
We look at what a boundary is, where they might be falling down or are non-existent in your world. We examine some boundary myths that might be roadblocks for you and we discuss how you can start implementing clearer, firmer and healthier boundaries in your life.
WEEK 2
We look at boundary setting with your family and why you might not even realise that a lack of boundaries are at play. We unpack problematic family dynamics and learn the magic formula to start implementing firmer property lines with your loved ones.
WEEK 3
We discuss boundaries with work and technology. We take a closer look at seven of the most common problems that people encounter at work and how these issues can be resolved with a firmer boundary. We also explore how we can minimise technology intruding on your life with practical limits.
WEEK 4
We finish off the month with a crash course in assertiveness training and end the lesson with a technique to help you minimise physical tension.
